Action against a PTA office bearer was demanded by more than 200 members of ‘Revolutionary Students and Youth Front’ (Purathchi Maanavar Ilaignar Munnani) who staged a protest at Maduravoyal on Friday against PTA office bearer for beating up two students.

Two Class XI students, Mani and Ananthan, were scolded by a teacher. It is alleged that later in the day, Yesuvan, head of the PTA, reprimanded and beat them up police said. The two students approached the Revolutionary Students and Youth Front after the incident to take action against Yesuvan.
