  DMK holds closed door meeting

The DMK, headed by its President and Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi and other top leaders of the party, reviewed the political situation with its district office-bearers.

CM M. Karunanidhi, deputy CM M. K. Stalin and Union Fertilizers Minister M.K. Alagiri and other senior party heavyweights, including K. Anbazhagan, interacted with party's representatives from Ramanathapuram district.

On October 22, 28 and November 1, the leaders are scheduled to meet party members from southern districts of Tuticorin, Tirunelveli, Coimbatore and South Chennai.

The Assembly elections for the Tamil Nadu Assembly are scheduled to be held in May, 2011.
