Under pressure from India and US, the Pakistan authorities have filed two different cases against the 26/11 Mumbai attack mastermind Hafez Saeed.

A senior police officer said that 3 FIR’s are registered which includes two against Saeed and one against Abu Jandal.

He said, “Three First Information Reports - two against Saeed and one against Abu Jandal - were registered at police stations in Faisalabad, some 100 km from here, for allegedly inciting people to wage 'jehad' (holy war) against infidels.”

Sources also said that he is been charged for expressing his concerns over the Pakistani government's change in Kashmir policy during his sermons at iftar parties on Aug 26 and 27 in Faisalabad.

The officer also made it clear that they haven’t conducted any raids as of now.

"We have not conducted any raids as we are waiting for a go-ahead from the high-ups," he said. He also added that Saeed's detention or arrest could not be ruled out.
