A great shopping experience is awaiting you at Ampa Skywalk located at Nelson Manickam Road-Poonamallee High Road junction, Chennai. The mall was inaugurated on September 28, 2009 amidst glitz and glamour.

Promoted by Ampa Housing & Development Private Limited, a leading real estate development company, the 6.50 lakh sq.ft Ampa Skywalk will feature a collection of all top international and national brands.

The three floored retail space had opened with 22 shops and the remaining will be launched in a phased manner.

The inaugural function of the mall saw some breathtaking performances from international entertainers. International Laser Angels with dancers from Russia and Ukraine combined gymnastics and acrobatics to allure the audiences. A performance from Buddha Watta of Sri Lanka was enthralling. To add some sound and color to the launch, awesome fireworks were seen on the terrace and the front of the mall.

The highlight of the mall will be a seven-screen digital multiplex which will be launched soon. The exciting addition to the mall will be the skywalk which is 80 ft above ground level. It connects the ticket boxes to the theatre.

For food lovers, this mall has a 650-seat facility food court with 19 counters of diverse cuisine.

The unique feature of the mall would be a 20-room boutique hotel operated by Auromatrix Hotel Pvt. Ltd.

The 100 crore shopping mall was in the making for quite some years and the management has decided to throw it open to the public.
