Former US president Bill Clinton paid tribute to his wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, during the start of annual global issues conference in New York.

Bill Clinton called his wife as the "best public servant our family has produced.", Hillary responded with a praise saying "I am very proud of my husband, and I think what he has invented and brought to life here is extraordinary," Hillary said.

The Clintons and their daughter Chelsea were greeted by huge applause at the fifth annual meeting of the anti-poverty and anti-climate change Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) at a New York hotel.

Hilary shared her ideas and spoke about new food initiative and believes that it will help people across the globe to grow, buy and sell the produce they need.

Bill Clinton said the event was "the first chance I have had in a week to see Hillary", due to her commitments.
