MJ’s new album releases on Oct 12

King of Pop Michael Jackson’s brand new song "This Is It" will be released as a single on Oct. 12.

The Sony Music Entertainment announced that the song, which features backing vocals by Michael's brothers, the Jacksons, adding that a two-disc album will be on sale internationally from October 26 and in North America on October 27.

John McClain, co-producer of the LP and co-executor of his estate, said: "This song only defines, once again, what the world already knows - that Michael is one of God's greatest gifts."

"Disc one will feature the original album masters of some of Michael's biggest hits arranged in the same sequence as they appear in the film. The disc ends with two versions of the never-released 'This Is It.' This song is featured in the film's closing sequence and includes backing vocals by Michael's brothers, the Jacksons," said Michael source.

The second disc will have the "previously unreleased versions" of some Jacko’s hits, as well as a previously unheard spoken word poem entitled "Planet Earth" and a 36-page commemorative booklet featuring "exclusive photos of Michael from his last rehearsal."
