9 lakh devottees expected to throng Tirunallar temple

On the occasion of ‘Sani Peyarchi’, nine lakh devotees from all over the country and abroad came to Tirunallar to worship the Lord Saneeswarar.

The Sani Peyarchi is very famous in Tamil Nadu. It is the move from the zodiac Saturn to Zodiac sign of Leo to Virgo at 3.27 p.m. on Saturday.

The District Collector Vasanthakumar has made arrangements to control the crowd. There will be around 1400 personnel and Home Guards and Rapid Action Force (RAF) to make the festival success.

The Collector has ordered the officials to arrange for special buses and for proper sanitation, drinking water facility, etc. Special cameras and other arrangements were made for devotes to take a holy dip in the banks of the tanks in Tirunallar.
