Pakistan Captain Younis Khan and Shoaib Malik has cleared the random dope test conduct by the International Cricket Council in the on-going champion’s trophy in South Africa.

Pakistan Team Manager Yawar Saeed has confirmed the news and also said that both the players have cleared the tests.

"Their results have come negative which is good. We were expecting this because we have been trying hard to educate the players about anti-doping codes and ICC requirements on this issue,"—he said.

He also said that the ICC has also taken the samples of pace bowler Muhammad Asif and Yawar and the result would be known in the next 48 hours.

He also said that they are having a close watch on Asif’s fitness.

"He is training hard with the team and we are keeping a close watch on his fitness,"- he said.
