  Air India starts operations

Air India has announced a daily Mumbai- Abu Dhabi flight from November 1 as part of the airline's expansion plans of its services between the two cities.

Responding to the growing demand for increase of flights between the Indian Sub Continent and Abu Dhabi the frequency has been increased from the present five flights per week to daily an airport source said.

With this additional service Air India's total number of flights to Abu Dhabi has risen to 14, connecting Abu Dhabi, Mumbai and Delhi.
