Abdul Madani's main man Abdul Ajeez who was in Bangalore on Friday was surrounded by CBI officials and arrested.

PDP leader Madani was remanded to judicial custody till September 7 for his role in the Bangalore blasts. Madani, whose case will be addressed after the 7th of September, was hopeful of getting a bail in this case. His aid Abdul Ajeez, who was in Dubai, arrived in Bangalore and was staying at a hotel in the city. Getting this tip-off, CBI officials surrounded the hotel and arrested Ajeez.

It is to be noted here that Ajeez came to Bangalore from Dubai to appear in Madani's case and to submit a bail petition. Ajeez, who is also the PDP media spokesperson, has been in the police and the CBI radar for a long time now.

It is also suspected that he too played a pivotal role in the Bangalore bomb blasts. He also has been in the 'wanted' list in a cheque forgery case. Interrogation is currently on and the CBI officials are questioning Ajeez in Bangalore.
