  Employment problem solved
  Sep 03, 2010 04.00 PM

Gone are the days where job seekers in Tamil Nadu have to stand in long queues for long hours to register for a job. With the implementation of a Virtual Employment Exchange, they just have to fill application forms and wait for employers to contact them.

ELCOT Managing Director Santhosh Babu told PTI, “Once the portal is launched, no one needs to visit District Employment Exchange offices for registration. They can fill the application form which will be hosted on the site and upload scanned copies of their qualification certificates". The portal is expected to be launched in a month.

Any candidate who has cleared Class XII and those awaiting degree results can register anywhere at any time.
