  Earthquake in Gujarat

Officials said that an earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale hit Patan district of north Gujarat toda. District Collector of Patan A. G. Hingrajia said that, “An earthquake was experienced between 8:39 to 8:45 AM close to Verana village in Patan".

But no damage or casualty has been reported so far. A senior scientist from the Institute of Seismological Research said that the earthquakes’ epicenter was 30 kilometres north east of Radhanpur taluka in Patan district. He added that it was at a latitude of 23.849 and longitude of 71.915.
