  Aircraft issue: Lalit Modi caught

Disgraced IPL boss Lalit Modi, who has already several allegations against him, is now in to another one. The link to his alleged payoff to the World Sports Group (WSG), a Mauritius-based company, as facilitation fee is being investigated by IT officials.

The IT officials are investigating Modi's link to an aircraft purchase, which was used by him for private use. Lalit Modi is refusing to co-operate in the investigation and some of his close associates are being investigated.

Modi's secretary Deepa Palekar has been questioned by I-T officials in Mumbai about a payment of nearly Rs. 80 crore reportedly made for the purchase of the plane.

Allegations like financial irregularities, nepotism and rigging bids are against Modi.
