Ace Indian wrestler Sushil Kumar created history on Sunday when he won the gold in the World Championship wrestling in Moscow.

Sushil had won the bronze medal at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. He was the second Indian after K.D. Jadhav who won the bronze medal in a different category in the same Olympics.

The President of WFI, G.S. Mander, congratulated Sushil on his achievement. Sushil Kumar created history on Sunday by becoming the first Indian wrestler to win a medal at the Olympic and the World Championships.

Sushil's feat has brought a smile on authorities when the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) is trying to save its face from the recent doping controversy.
