The
country was in tears exactly a year ago,
few men pulled their shocks and showcased
the real heroism to save their country and
its people.
So let us take a look at the hero’s
and salute them for their braveness.

R. Saravana Kumar
Hemant
Karkare
He was the chief of Mumbai Anti-Terrorist
squad. He was born on 12 December
1954 at Mumbai.
He was having his dinner at 9.45pm
(on 26-11-08) at his residence.
He received a call regarding the
terrorist attack. He immediately
left his house and reached Chattrapathi
Sivaji Termius railway station.
He was completely shocked to see
bodies scattered all around.
He immediately wore his helmet and
bulled proof jacket and leaped into
action.
It is to be noted that Karkare was
the first to take the initiative
to save the nation.
Hearing his plan on the television
the terrorists who received signals
from their handlers hijacked a car
and blocked Karakare’s police
vehicle and shot him down.
